Before buying, did Hammer nu think PBA would act on urethane balls?

Hammer was under the impression that the PBA would proceed to phase out urethane bowling balls, like the blue hammer bowling ball, from the PBA Tour. This possible change could also extend to their other contests, such as the PBA50+, Regional, and Youth tournaments.
