Both the Gem and Harsh Reality are earlier, smoother motion bowling balls. If you're looking for the stronger of the two we would suggest the Harsh Reality. It's about as strong as they come on the market right now.

Currently I am using a Storm Dark Code, and a 900 Global Wolverine. I used my teammates Gem in league and bowled very well with it. When I went to purchase the gem someone recommended that I instead should look into the Harsh Reality. I am looking for a reactive ball that hooks early but hits hard. Which one should I buy?
